Eyelet Connections

by Antonia Cavaliere

Eyelet Connections is a sleeveless cotton top, knitted flat in pieces and then seamed together. I was inspired to design this top because I wanted something lightweight and fun to wear in spring and summer. Plus, I wanted to play with eyelets and disprove the legend that says that lace knitting is too hard and has to be worked with laceweight yarns! The whole top, despite its intricate look, only uses two stitch patterns placed side by side, interrupted by garter ridges so it’s actually fun and easy to knit!

Dancing with Faeries

by Red and the Wolf Designs

With summer coming up and the theme being “see through”, I wanted to create a light an airy wrap, something you’d want to wear at a party on a hot summer night – no matter whether you celebrate and dance with mere mortals or faeries. The yarn is the colours of a summer sunset, and the lace weight combined with a mesh stitch makes this wrap perfect for hot weather.

Forest is All A Round Shawl

by Munro Sisters3

Modern and eye-catching, the Forest is All A Round Shawl is a lovely modern take on the circular lace shawl. The lace detail is inspired by being surrounded by forest, hence the forest being all ‘around’. This delicate lace is perfect for the summer as it is almost ‘see through’.
